OTTAWA, Ont. – The volunteer driven charity ‘Hockey Helps the Homeless’ is going on this weekend!

The fundraiser has teamed up with the Ottawa Senators for its fantasy hockey event at the Bell Sensplex.

The tournament offers male and female players the chance to skate alongside their hockey heroes while raising money in support of the homeless in the community.

This year, Ottawa hockey fans can look forward to playing with Shean Donovan, Brad Brown, Laurie Boschman, Brad Marsh, among others.

This year’s event will take place on Fri. March 1 and will support the Ottawa Mission and Ottawa Innercity Ministries.
